The Triple D Ranch has 6 bass lakes for catch-and-release fishing. All of the bass lakes have trophy-sized bass and are equipped with automatic feeders. Each lake has a boat landing. The lakes also have plenty of structure.
Two members of the University of Alabama Bass Fishing Team fished at the Triple D Ranch in late May (l to r- Cameron Mitchell, David Rogers).
Two of the bass lakes are 17 - 18 acres each and have large mouth bass and bream. Several bass in the 10 lb. range and bream in the 2 lb. range have been caught recently. The other 2 bass lakes, 15 acres & 40 acres, are stocked with F-1 tiger bass, blue gills, and shad.
Another lake is 2 acres and is stocked with Gorilla bass. The Gorilla bass are even more aggressive than the Tiger Bass.
Warning- The lakes at Triple D look so inviting you might be tempted to jump in.
All fishing is catch-and-release. All guests need to sign a liability release. Bring your fishing boat, with trolling motor only. No live bait is allowed. There is a 60' X 120' covered shed available nearby with picnic tables and restrooms.
