Deer
White-tailed deer roam freely at the Triple D Ranch in the famed Black Belt region in Sumter County, AL. We cater to bow hunters.
Our land is intensively managed for deer. There are 11 large oat fields, with corn fields surrounding each oat field. Over 70 acres of corn was planted. Orchards have been planted at every field- honeysuckle, crabapple, pears, and muscadines. There are over 1,000 acres of hardwoods on the ranch.
2008 Report- So far, deer have been seen but not killed during bow season. But 2 wild hogs weren't as lucky.
